There many viruses or malware from the internet that spread so fast because they use a partner script or file --- the auturun.inf file. Some of these viruses may hide your original folder and replace it with the same folder but with .exe extension name so that when you click the folder, the virus spreads. That's the spreading trick of a virus and if you do not have the idea on how to show hidden files from your computer or show the extension name of all file, then you will not know that the folder you are trying to open is already infected with a virus. Some of these viruses may also create mp3.exe , music.exe , new folder.exe , installer.exe files in your folder and if your hard drive or USB flash drive contains mp3 folder or music folder that you have created, you may be tempted to open it. If you are using Symantec Antivirus or Norton Antivirus and your computer is not connected to the internet, you can still update its virus database by following the procedures i have simplified just for you. 1. Download the Virus database from Symantec Website . 2. If you have downloaded the update file, Open your Symantec antivirus program and check its Virus  Definition file. 3. Double click the update file you have downloaded. The update file look like this: 4. A window will appear asking you if: Do you want to update your virus definition files? 5. Click YES. Now your Symantec antivirus is updating your virus database/definition. 6. If the update is completed you can see a small window like this: 7. My Acer Aspire  4730z  laptop was previously running in Windows Vista but i've changed the Operating System to Windows XP ( click here to Change Windows Vista to XP ) When i close my laptop's lid or cover, the Media Player stops playing. This guide is for laptops running in Windows XP. You can have your program continue running after closing the laptop lid by following the procedure below: 1. Click START , choose CONTROL PANEL . 2. Click PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE. 3. Choose POWER OPTIONS. 4. In the ADVANCED tab, answer - DO NOTHING , When I Close the lid of my portable computer. 5. Click APPLY , then OK .
