How to remove autorun.inf

There many viruses or malware from the internet that spread so fast because they use a partner script or file --- the auturun.inf file. Some of these viruses may hide your original folder and replace it with the same folder but with .exe extension name so that when you click the folder, the virus spreads. That's the spreading trick of a virus and if you do not have the idea on how to show hidden files from your computer or show the extension name of all file, then you will not know that the folder you are trying to open is already infected with a virus. Some of these viruses may also create mp3.exe, music.exe, new folder.exe, installer.exe files in your folder and if your hard drive or USB flash drive contains mp3 folder or music folder that you have created, you may be tempted to open it. Surprisingly, it will not open. The worst case is that when all the folders and files in your USB flash drive are being hidden by the virus. If you do not have idea of this certain virus - x64console.exe virus, then you may think that all your files are gone. But they are not gone or deleted they are just hidden.

What to do to remove autorun.inf from your computer or USB flash drive?
1. Install Autorun Eater.
2. If you are done with the installation process, it will start deleting or killing autorun.inf file.
3. If it finds one, a screen will pop up prompting you on what you want to do.
4. Just press: Delete autorun.inf
5. If there is no  more pop screen on the autorun eater appears on your monitor, it means that you have successfully killed the autotun.inf file. But if, after you have pressed delete autorun.inf and the screen will continue to reappear then that virus' autorun.inf is more powerful than Autorun Eater. You can try ComboFix to fix the problem.
6. If you are successful with the deletion process of the autorun.inf virus, you may start manually deleting the files related with that virus.
7. You can show the hidden files or folders by going to TOOLS, Folder Options, on the View Tab, check Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide extensions for know file types also uncheck Hide protected operating system files.
8. Then, manually restore or unhide the hidden files and folders by: Right clicking on the file or folders, choose Properties then uncheck Hidden.
9. Also manually delete folders with .exe extensions such as: mp3.exe, installer.exe, etc.
10. Delete also the the folder named autorun.inf and RECYCLER.
