Typhoon Kabayan Update | Bagyong Kabayan Update (International Name: MUIFA)
As of the latest updates issued at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2011, Typhoon "KABAYAN" has maintained its strength as it moves in a West Northwest direction. According to the weather bulletin issued by PAGASA, at 10:00 a.m., the "eye" of Bagyong Kabayan is located 1,030 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes with exact coordinates - 24.3°N, 132.4°E.

As it moves West Northwest, Typhoon Kabayan has a maximum sustained winds of 165 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 200 kph.
