Oh The Joys Of Valentine's Day

Couple Valentines DayValentine's Day is fast approaching and it seems to be the topic of most people’s conversations. If you are one of the lucky ones that has found their Valentine’s Day date you better get the restaurant reservation before there are no available tables at your loves favorite restaurant. If you are one of the so called “unlucky” ones that has not found a date for this February 14th have no fear there are many single people out there feeling your pain.

Which Group Are You?
Each year when Valentine's Day rolls around there are three groups of people that form. The first group of people that forms is the people that are really excited about the wonderful surprise they have planned for their girlfriend or the wonderful surprise that their boyfriend has for them. Then there are those that are ambivalent to the holiday, but still feel they need to do something nice for their loved one as to spare their feelings. Then there is the group that has no one to call their Valentine on Valentine's Day and absolutely loath the holiday.

Roses FlowersThe people that just love Valentine's Day and constantly talk about how excited they are, normally make the ambivalent people a little nervous and the people that hate the holiday, hate it all that much more. The ambivalent group will become more nervous because they thought they planned a great evening for their loved ones, but think it might not meet the expectations of their loved one that truly does enjoy Valentine's Day. The people that are really excited about holiday make the people that loath Valentine's Day hate it more because they feel like the holiday is being thrown in their face.

To help keep the peace this Valentine's Day, try and keep your excitement and your hate for the holiday at a minimum to try and spare the feelings all around you. After all the holiday is meant to celebrate the love that people share and not meant to make people feel bad that they do not have a loved one.

For all the men that have to put together a really romantic evening on Valentine's Day: make sure to keep the evening fun and light. Trying to overdue the date can really backfire and it might cause your significant other to think that you are trying too hard. Remember to just be yourself and have fun. After all, your loved one already fell in love with you on a regular night with you acting like you.
