The San Antonio Spurs proved they are more determined this season and didn't let the Miami Heat take advantage of their home-court beating the defending champions in Game 4, 107-86 to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the 2014 NBA Finals.

It is the first time the Heat have trailed a series by two games since losing the 2011 Finals 4-2 to the Dallas Mavericks. The San Antonio Spurs now have three more chances to grab the championship trophy that slipped away last year. The way they're dominating the Miami Heat, they might need just one.
There Spurs won the last two games without major scoring production from Tim Duncan who scored 10 points, 11 rebounds and Manu Ginobili's seven points contribution. But the other guys did well not to mention's Tony Parker's consistent play making who scored 19 points.
The Spurs ball movement had the Heat scrambling to defend open shooters. Nine Spurs scored in the first half, and it was too difficult for the Heat to cover Kawhi Leonard (20 points and 14 rebounds), Boris Diaw (eight points, nine rebounds and nine assists) and Patty Mills (14 points).
Lebron James tried to keep the Heat in it with 28 points and eight rebounds, but Dwyane Wade was just 1 of 10 through three quarters and finished with 10 points.
"Ours heads are a little down right now. It's just human nature, but we still have to go out and play on Sunday," James said. "They smashed us two straight home games. Got off to awful starts. They came in and were much better than us in these two games. It's that simple."
The Spurs were 26 seconds from a title last season but blew a five-point lead with 28.2 seconds left in the fourth quarter of Game 6 and for sure they don't want that to happen again. No team has overcome a 3-1 deficit in the finals, and the way they were outclassed twice on their home floor makes it hard to imagine the two-time champions being the first.
NBA Finals 2014 Game 5 is on Monday (Philippine Time) in San Antonio , and the Spurs are on the verge of the franchise's fifth championship and first since 2007.
