Blogging Seminar: A Success

The third batch of Computer Literacy and Blogging Seminar held at Activity Center A, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Complex, Government Center, Dahican, Mati, Davao Oriental on October 29-30, 2009 was a successful activity participated by all ICT Coordinators of 1st Congressional District as well as 2nd Congressional District ICT Coordinators who were not able to attend the previous seminar.

The said seminar which was under the program "MAYOng Edukasyon para sa MAYOng Kaugmaon" was sponsored by Hon. Joel "Mayo" Z. Almario, Vice Governor of Davao Oriental and Cong. Thelma Z. Almario, Representative of the 2nd District of Davao Oriental in partnership with Deped Davao Oriental, DILG, and TESDA.

To provide the participants with enhanced ICT education and to instill awareness on alternative livelihood sources through blogging were the objectives of the seminar.

The resource speakers during the two-day seminar were: Alfredo B. Siason Jr., ICT Coordinator of Davao Oriental, talked about Basic PC Hardware Assembly; Jeremias Ceniza, on PC Software Installation; Alma Cafe, on Basic Blogging; and Leodyl L. Ajos, Admin Asst. V - Office of the Vice Governor, on Blogging as a Source of Livelihood.
