How to update Symantec antivirus if you don't have internet connection?

If you are using Symantec Antivirus or Norton Antivirus and your computer is not connected to the internet, you can still update its virus database by following the procedures i have simplified just for you.

1. Download the Virus database from Symantec Website.

2. If you have downloaded the update file, Open your Symantec antivirus program and check its Virus  Definition file.

3. Double click the update file you have downloaded. The update file look like this:

4. A window will appear asking you if: Do you want to update your virus definition files?

5. Click YES. Now your Symantec antivirus is updating your virus database/definition.

6. If the update is completed you can see a small window like this:

7. Congratulations! you can now use the Symantec antivirus with its virus definition updated.
8. To be certain, check the Virus Definition File if it changes to a new date.
