After searching through the net about PageRank and BackLinks, i have found this table that will give you a quick view on how much backlinks are needed for your website or blog in order to gain a certain pagerank in Google ranking.
It is a fact that backlinks or inlinks are necessary to achieve a desired Google Page Rank or Google PR(for short). If you are new in Search Engine Optimization(SEO), you should have read the following before reading and interpreting the Google Page Rank Back Link or InLink Table.

So, you opted to proceed, and i presume that you really had a nice idea about about Page Rank and Backlinks. And here's the table that i'm talking about.
HOW TO USE THE TABLE?
The Backlink Table has numbers 2 to 10 arranged vertically on the left side of the table - these numbers represent the Page Rank that you want to get. Another numbers from 1 to 10 are arranged horizontally at the bottom of the table - these numbers represent the Page Rank of the website where your backlinks should be coming from.
So here's a quick example:
If you want to get a PR of 3 = You need 555 backlinks from PR 1 site or
101 backlinks from PR 2 sites or
18 backlinks from PR 3 sites or
4 backlinks from PR 4 sites or
Let us say, you need to achieve a PR 5:
You need 555 backlinks from PR 3 sites or 3 backlinks from PR 6 sites.
*Note: There is no assurance that the information shared in this table are accurate but it only gives you a quick view about how many back links you will need to get a certain Page Rank. Google may update the formula they use in calculating backlinks of a certain website in order to get a certain rank.

nice post! i was really looking for information how can i increase my Google page rank and this page give me an overview about how to increase page rank by having backlinks from sites with higher PR.

ReplyDeleteDo you have a Backlink checker which would tell you how many links from each PR ranking are linking to your site?
ReplyDeleteyou can use google webmaster and check links to your site. Or you can also try Yahoo site explorer.

ReplyDeleteI could almost bet your life that having only 3 links from PR6 websites won't get you a PR5 :-)
