Digital Literacy Training

It's good to be one of the trainers of Digital Literacy Training conducted in selected secondary schools of Davao Oriental (District 2). The participants were very cooperative and willing to learn the basic of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The trainers as well as the participants of the said training were very thankful to Hon. Thelma Z. Almario, District 2 Davao Oriental representative, for sponsoring the Digital Literacy Training.

Also we are very grateful to Mr. Alfredo S. Siason Jr., Division ICT Coordinator of DepEd Davao Oriental, for initiating this training.

Digital Literacy is really a must for all teachers. The basic skills learned in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint can be used in teaching as well as doing teaching-and-learning related  tasks. Making simple documents, computing grades and creating presentations are some of the outputs of the said training.

DLT was designed in order to improve the scores of the teachers in NCBTS-TSNA strand 4.7 - "Demonstrates skills in the use of ICT in teaching and learning".
