Setting goals for a blog is a big help for newbie and advanced bloggers. With the targets or goals that i've set, i can see that my blog is evolving in the blogosphere. Though the evolution is slow but at least i can see that there are improvements in my blogging career.
Three months after i changed into a custom domain - from scolexportal.blogspot.com to www.scolexportal.info, two targets has been hit or even surpassed.
Two milestones reached!
1. My blogs readership has increased as reflected in my "Readers through Feedburner" widget. I've surpassed my target which 200 on my 1st Blogversary.
2. Facebook followers are more than 200. Though I did not included it as one of my blog's goal, but this number has great impact on my blog.
My next targets to achieve are the following:

My next targets to achieve are the following:
- Regain at least the #5 spot in Topblogs.ph. Currently, Scolex Portal is at #8-#10 spot.
- 2,000 daily unique visitors. As of this post my unique visitors are at about 800-1000. I want see this traffic will increase in a month or two.
- Pagerank 3 on the next PR update. What a giant leap!
- Research and more research on the different SEO techniques that will increase my backlinks.
- Additional keywords related to the blog topics i'm dealing with.
- More quality or evergreen contents that will serve as my link baits.
