During the January 2011 PR update, i was very frustrated because I've expected my blog will reach PR2 or PR3 but sad to note it was glued at PR0. The minor updates happened during April did not affect my PR.
I heard a lot of websites and blogs have been affected by this Google Toolbar Pagerank update. Some websites gain PR while others have been affected adversely. Minus 1, 2 or the worst minus 3.
As stressed by Google, a blog's PR has no correlation to its ranking in search engine and the traffic it will receive. What's more important are the backlinks towards your site.

Copying articles will not directly harm your PR but it will definitely affect your ranking in search engine results page. In this blog, i have some articles copied from other blogs but i give credits to the source.

ReplyDeleteGoogle has updated PR and this update has been positive for most of the websites, my many of websites got increase in page rank.
ReplyDeleteIn this recent Pagerank update for 2011, I also noticed that there's some improvements on the PR of my internal pages.
ReplyDeleteI individually checked some of my favorite posts and i found out they got PR1 and even PR2. I'm hoping that by the next PR update, I would see those pages at PR3 or even higher at my homepage to be at PR3 or PR4.
