A Severe Weather Bulletin # 8 issued by The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned the public of the possible areas which will greatly suffer as Typhoon Pedring enters the Philippine Area of Responsibilities.
The updates were issued on Monday, September 26, 2011 at around 5:00 P.M.
As of 4:00 P.M., the center or Eye of the Typhoon was located 60 km East Southeast of Casiguran, Aurora with exact coordinates - 15.6°N, 124.8°E. PEDRING is moving with the maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph.
Wednesday afternoon (September 28), PAGASA predicted PEDRING at 410 km West Northwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur.
On Thursday afternoon (Sepmber 29), Typhoon PEDRING is expected at 820 km West Northwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur.

Tuesday afternoon (September 27), Tropical Storm Pedring is expected to make a landfall over Casiguran, early tomorrow morning will be at Aurora and will be in the vicinity of Baguio City.Wednesday afternoon (September 28), PAGASA predicted PEDRING at 410 km West Northwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur.

Here's an important reminder reminder from PAGASA:
Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under Public Storm Warning Signals are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this tropical cyclone.
Estimated rainfall amount is from 15 - 25 mm per hour within the 650 km diameter of the typhoon.
Typhoon Pedring is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon and will bring scattered to widespread rains over Southern Luzon and Visayas.
The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 PM today and the hourly updates.
