The New 7 Wonders of Nature are listed in alphabetical order, not in any position or ranking namely; AMAZON, HALONG BAY, IGUAZU FALLS, JEJU ISLAND, KOMODO, PUERTO PRINCESA UNDERGROUND RIVER, and TABLE MOUNTAIN.

The Amazon of South America is the second of the longest rivers in the world and by far the largest by water flow with an average discharge greater than the next seven largest rivers combined (not including Madeira and Rio Negro, which are tributaries of the Amazon). The Amazon, which has the largest drainage basin in the world, about 7,050,000 square kilometers (2,720,000 sq mi) accounts for approximately one-fifth of the world’s total river flow.

Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a popular travel destination, located in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam. Halong Bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes. The abundance of lakes inside the limestone islands, for example, Dau Be Island has six enclosed lakes is another feature of the bay. All these island lakes occupy drowned dolines within fengcong karst. Ha Long Bay is a center of a larger zone which includes Bái Tử Long bay to the northeast, and Cát Bà islands to the southwest. These larger zones share similar geological, geographical, geomorphological, climate, and cultural characters.

20 million years has taken to the evolution of the karst under the impact of the tropical wet climate. Biodiversity has been created through the geo-diversity of the environment in the area, including a tropical evergreen biosystem, oceanic and sea shore biosystem.

Iguazu Falls, in Iguazu River, are one of the world's largest waterfalls which are located on the border of the Brazilian State of Paraná and the Argentine Province of Misiones. The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu. The origin of Iguazu River comes from near city of Curitiba. It extends over 2,700 m (nearly 2 miles) in a semi-circular shape. Of the 275 falls that collectively make up Iguassu Falls, "Devil's Throat" is the tallest at 80 m in height. Iguazu Falls are on the border between the Brazilian state of Paraná and the Argentine province of Misiones, and are surrounded by two National Parks (BR/ARG.

Jeju Island: Jeju-do is the only special autonomous province of South Korea, situated on and coterminous with the country's largest island. Jeju-do lies in the Korea Strait, southwest of Jeollanam-do Province, of which it was a part before it became a separate province in 1946. Its capital is the city of Jeju. Jejudo is a volcanic island, 130 km from the southern coast of Korea. The largest island and smallest province in Korea, the island has a surface area of 1,846 sqkm. A central feature of Jeju is Hallasan, the tallest mountain in South Korea and a dormant volcano, which rises 1,950 m above sea level. 360 satellite volcanoes are around the main volcano.

Indonesia’s Komodo National Park includes the three larger islands Komodo, Rinca and Padar, as well as numerous smaller ones, for a total area of 1,817 square kilometers (603 square kilometers of it land). The national park was founded in 1980 to protect the Komodo dragon. Later, it was also dedicated to protecting other species, including marine animals. The islands of the national park are of volcanic origin.

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP) is one of the most important biodiversity conservation areas of the Philippines. It is located about 50 km north of the city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. The Puerto Princesa Underground River is reputed to be the longest navigable underground river in the World. It is one of the few such rivers which the public can easily experience and appreciate. It is the official entry of the Philippines and is 1 of the 28 finalists to the Search for the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

A spectacular limestone or karst landscape that contains an 8.2 km long underground river is featured. The PPPSRNP is designated a core area for the Palawan Biosphere Reserve under the Man and Biosphere Program. In recognition of its globally significant natural properties, it was inscribed to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s of (UNESCO) List of Natural World Heritage Sites. Inscription to the list confirms the exceptional and universal value of the Site that deserves to be protected for the benefit of all humanity.

Table Mountain is a South African icon and the only natural site on the planet to have a constellation of stars named after it - Mensa, meaning "the table." The flat-topped mountain has withstood six million years of erosion and hosts the richest, yet smallest floral kingdom on earth with over 1,470 floral species. Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa, and is featured in the flag of Cape Town and other local government insignia.[2] It is a significant tourist attraction, with many visitors using the cableway or hiking to the top. The mountain forms part of the Table Mountain National Park. This mountain becomes an entry for the New 7 Wonders of Nature because of its unusual awesome flat-topped cliff.

Above mentioned are the Provisional New7Wonders of Nature based on the first count of vote results on 11/11/11. The New 7 Wonders Foundation announced the first count of vote results of the provisional New7Wonders of Nature, which includes Komodo, on its official website.
