Three years ago, Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes had their breakthrough project, "Mara Clara" which opened more opportunities to them after it ended. Bernardo became Mikay in the teen primetime show, "Princess and I" while Montes joined the powerhouse cast of the hit primetime show, "Walang Hanggan" as Katarina.
Starting next month, the teen actresses will separately appear in two new Kapamilya series. The 17-year-old Bernardo will once again appear opposite heartthrob actor Daniel Padilla in "Got To Believe," which is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
The 18-year-old Montes, meanwhile, will portray Sarah in "Muling Buksan ang Puso," which centers on the themes of forgiveness and second chances.
Directed by Manny Palo and Nuel Naval, the series sees the "love triangle" among Sarah and characters portrayed by Enrique Gil and Enchong Dee.
The two new programs are expected to replace the Angelica Panganiban drama "Apoy sa Dagat" and the South Korean series "Missing You," which are both on their last two weeks on air.
