Pilipinas Got Talent Grand Winner is Jovit Baldivino

It's another "rags to riches" story as Jovit Baldivino was proclaimed as the first "Pilipinas Got Talent" (PGT) Grand Winner on June 13, 2010 at Araneta Coliseum. Jovit Baldivino is a contestant from Batangas now deemed as the "Batangas Teenage Sensation".

PGT in its first season in Philippine television has made a history. The show encourages talented Filipinos from different walks of life to show his/her/their talent to the whole world. It offers true-to-life heart-warming stories.

It was not an easy journey for Jovit Baldivino to be able to reach the peak of the contest and even got the title as the 1st Pilipinas Got Talent Grand Winner.

Jovit Baldivino was able to take home the whopping P2 Million cash prize plus a chance to be part of any show of a giant TV network - ABS-CBN.

As the three judges handed the giant P2 Million cheque to Jovit, Kris Aquino ask the PGT Grand Winner what will be his next plan in his career. Kris gave him options like Teleserye, Soap Opera, ASAP, Movie or a Game Show host but the Grand Winner says - "lahat po"(i want them all).

The Velasco brothers and Baguio Metamorphosis were the two others who made it in the PGT Top 3. They were rewarded with a cash prize of P100, 000. Other Pilipinas Got Talent finalists received P50,000. Nobody goes home empty-handed.

What Future Awaits the Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) 1st Grand Winner?
The nearest answer to that question would be a singing career. Jovit Baldivino has the voice that can even equal the voice quality of Arnel Pineda, the new Journey vocalist. Jovit is a down-to-earth person and now holding his trophy as champion.
