On the first week of year 2011, i was very happy because i saw my gaming blog back on the #2 spot of Topblogs.com. I was happy because i saw my blog's stats reaching about 3,000 daily pageviews a day. But a disaster happened to this blog on January 9-11, 2011. I'm shouting for help in different forums - "I cannot access my blog". I'm afraid it's another malware attack for my blog.
Hastily, i login to my Google Webmaster account to check if Google has detected some malware on my blog. It's a relief that there's no malware found. I also checked my blogger account to check the status of my blog and i noticed that i can do whatever i want for my blog - change settings, view stats, make a post or even edit a post. But when i clicked view blog, i landed into an error page.
I asked one of my friend from other municipality to check my blog and she said she can access my blog. She instructed me to clear my cookies and browsing history but after i followed the instruction, still the problem persists. "This is another blog disaster!", I said to myself. I searched for answers from Google but none of those suggestions worked.
If you are following this blog, maybe you have noticed the disaster i'm referring to. Until now, things are still blurry about it. Others can access my blog, others cannot access it including me. For your info, i'm using Globe Tattoo broadband to access the Internet during those bad times. It's not totally a downtime but i lost a lot of visitors for the days my blog is inaccessible to some people.
I hope a downtime or disaster like this will not happen anymore for my blog. If you have any idea of what is happening to my blog, please post your ideas in my comment box.

Oh man that's really bad. I know just how it feels and things like these always seem to pick the absolute worst moments to occur.
ReplyDeleteFor instance, I was promoting this product and on one particular week, the product was practically free. That meant it was a very busy week for all the internet marketers promoting that product..
Well guess what? On day 1 of that week, the server my website was on was down and, of course, took a whole week to get it back up again!
I must have missed out on at least 1000 dollars.
Cruel.. just cruel..
The only thing I can think of what happened to your blog, is that the server you're on is unreliable. But then again, I don't have any knowledge of these things whatsoever, so I can't be sure of that.
Good luck and let's hope these kind of things don't happen too often!
Cheers,
Chris
