The Latest Gaming News

Computer games are becoming more in demand by the general population than ever before, with games suitable for all ages being pumped out of the industry month after month. Here are a few of the most anticipated releases for consoles ranging from the Nintendo Wii to the Playstation 3.

Nintendo Wii
As ever, the Nintendo Wii has another fitness come dancing masterpiece designed to bring together people of all ages and experience to party in time to the music. Michael Jackson – The Experience is the latest copycat dance choreographer, giving hours of entertainment for the whole family. The game allows up to four players to compete against each other for the title "King of Pop", taking on challenges with an extensive catalogue of songs. Not only can you bump along in time to the music, but for all those who enjoy a challenge you can get stuck in attempting to recreate some of Jackson's signature moves using the Nintendo Wii controller.

The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 have both seen the release of Dead Space 2, the long awaited sequel to the 2008 interstellar massacre Dead Space. The new game gives Necromorph-slayer Isaac Clarke another chilling and bloodthirsty mission across much larger environments, an array of new weapons and a fantastic multiplayer mode. Waking from a coma to find yourself alone and embroiled in yet another cataclysmic nightmare, you must battle dementia, hide away from the government and rid yourself of the haunting image of your dead girlfriend. The sequel hides a host of creatures both new and old around almost every corner, while you battle your way with a set of bloodthirsty tools impaling, slicing and dismembering anything that stands in your path.

The Xbox 360 Kinect has been breaking ground in the gaming industry since late last year and the latest game Yoostar 2 brings with it more fantastic content and party options for the family to enjoy. Insert yourself into your favorite movie and television scenes alongside or in place of the stars, delivering scripted or improvised lines you can upload to Yoostar's social portal. It is a brilliant party game for Xbox 360 enthusiasts and casual players alike, with it also available on Playstation 3 Move.

With the release of the Nintendo 3DS next month, there are of course many games hitting the stores in the hope of getting a bite of the action. Pilotwings Resort is the long awaited 3D addition to the Pilotwings series. It allows you to take the pilot controls like never before, sending your Nintendo 3DS Mii character to explore Wuhu Island by plane, glider or rocket belt. Each vehicle type has a unique set of controls which challenge players in different ways. You can get involved in around 40 flight missions to earn your Mii stars, or take to the sky in free flight mode to collect hundreds of collectables unlocking various Dioramas. You can share your experiences with friends and family with the in game camera, saving photos into the Nintendo 3DS album.
