2011 Mercedes Benz E-Classs New Engines
Expect two new engines for the 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class.The E350 BlueEFFICIENCY bring new V6 engine with a capacity of 3.5 liter which can generate power of 302 hp and 370 Nm of torque. This luxury saloon can accelerates from 0-100 kpj in 6.3 seconds. Note: maximum speed 250 kpj.
The power increased by 13 hp and 5 Nm from the previous engine. This increase was accompanied by fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions by 20%. Note: fuel consumption 14.2 liters/km.
While the E500 BlueEFFICIENCY is equipped with Twin-Turbo V8 engine with a capacity of 4.6 liters, producing 402 hp and torque of 600 Nm. The power increased by 20 hp and 70 Nm from the previous variants.
Although the E500 is more powerful, its fuel consumption can be reduced to 17%. With fuel consumption of 11.2 liters / km. The time needed to accelerate from 0-100 kpj is 5.2 seconds.
